A short cat litter monologue
A week ago I was cleaning out the litter box for my two cats since I am the designated cat box cleaning lady. I eventually dug up, among all the usual disgusting lumps and clumps, a perfectly robust heart shaped treasure my sweet feline friends made just for me. It was a bulbous scoop and weighed at least half a pound. So much piss! Such a wonder! What a gift! My first thought was to take a picture of it but on second thought, gross, but I can’t let this delightful excavation pass by without some sort of acknowledgement of Choco and Scout’s astounding achievement. Thanks guys!
Upon speaking to a friend about who becomes the designated cleaner of the cat box:
“The person that ends up cleaning the litter box does not have the power in the relationship.”
